Hanuman, one of our very first curated investees, has become the first startup from Bihar to secure a catalytic grant from ACT in the healthcare sector. The launch of Action COVID-19 Team (ACT) is a collective step taken by founders from leading startups, independent advisors, investors, supporters, and mentors of the startup ecosystem, with an attempt to help startups fight the on-going pandemic. The 100-crore programme aims at seeding startups that can scale their impact as a combating move against the pandemic. Hanuman, a promising healthcare startup in Bihar has been given the support of INR 1.15 crores by the ACT in the form of 150 Oxygen concentrators and cash grants.
As KareKeba Ventures continues to mentor and provide the needed hand-holding support to Hanuman, the startup plans to leverage all the support being received in executing last mile delivery of healthcare facilities in rural areas with a heavy dearth of medical infrastructure, targeting to cover more than 3.70 lakh beneficiaries across demographic segments. The strengthened capacities are helping the organisation drive its mission of bringing ‘Sanjeevni’ to lives.
